The Sister Mary Mullally Loyola Foundation is an Internal Revenue Code § 501(c)(3) nonprofit unincorporated association formed pursuant to the Texas Uniform Nonprofit Unincorporated Associations Act (Tex. Bus. & Comm. Code § 252.001 et seq.). The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees. Each member of the Board of Trustees serves a five (5) year term pursuant to the Foundation’s Bylaws. The Board of Trustees of the Foundation is currently comprised of three Trustees.
Patrick Mullally Knapp, Chairman
Mr. Knapp is a corporate energy lawyer whose practice focuses on M&A, structured finance, and commercial transactions for the global petroleum industry. He is a partner in the Dallas, Texas office of Jackson Walker LLP, and previously practiced with the international law firm McGuireWoods LLP. He holds a bachelors degree in economics and marketing from the University of Notre Dame and a law degree from Southern Methodist University. He is the great-great-nephew of Sister Loyola, the grandson of Michael & Phyllis Mullally, and the great-grandson of William & Daisy Mullally. He has served as a Trustee of the Foundation since 2011, and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees since 2020.
Erin N. Schrimpf (née Mullally), Trustee
Mrs. Schrimpf is a public policy and public affairs expert whose career spans roles with the U.S. Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and experience running statewide ballot campaigns. She has worked on five successful statewide ballot initiatives in Missouri since 2018. Her corporate experience includes executive communications roles at Cerner Corporation and other healthcare companies. She is currently a political consultant at StateLine Strategies, where she advises clients on government relations, public affairs, and campaign strategy. Mrs. Schrimpf holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Missouri and a master’s of public policy from Georgetown University. She is the great-great-niece of Sister Loyola, the granddaughter of Michael & Phyllis Mullally, and the great-granddaughter of William & Daisy Mullally. She has served as a Trustee of the Foundation since 2020.
Michael J. Mullally, Jr., Trustee
Mr. Mullally is a retired oil and gas engineer whose career spanned more than 38 years with ExxonMobil Corporation, during which time he worked on major LNG, oil sands, and offshore projects across the globe. He holds a bachelors degree in chemical engineering, cum laude, from the University of Missouri. He is the great-nephew of Sister Loyola, the son of Michael and Phyllis Mullally, and the grandson of William & Daisy Mullally. He knew and regularly communicated with Sister Loyola during her lifetime. He has served as a Trustee of the Foundation since 2018.
Denise Joyce Reynolds, Trustee
Mrs. Reynolds is a senior cost accountant with Lockheed Martin Corporation. She previously worked for L3 Communications and the U.S. Department of Defense. She holds a bachelors degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University. She is the great-niece of Sister Loyola, the daughter of JeanAnne (née Mullally) and John Joyce, and the granddaughter of William & Daisy Mullally. She has served as a Trustee of the Foundation since 2021.
